Summer meals are coming back! ☀️🍎
Newton County Schools will once again offer FREE summer meals for children 18 and under (or 21 and under for individuals with disabilities) through our 2026 Summer Meals Program.
Families will have access to:
• Weekly meal pick-up locations with 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches per child
• Daily on-site meal locations throughout the community
Whether your family needs grab-and-go convenience or daily meal service, we’re proud to help ensure children across Newton County continue to have access to nutritious meals all summer long.

Kindergarten Round-Up is almost here! 🎉
Newton County Schools will open online registration for incoming kindergarten students (2026–2027 school year) during the week of May 4–8. If your child will be 5 years old by September 1, now is the time to start preparing!
Take a few minutes to review the required documents and registration details so you’re ready when the window opens. Schools will also offer in-person assistance by appointment for families who need support.
