Even when physical classes are suspended due to bad weather or emergencies, your learning journey doesn't stop! Here is a quick guide on what you need to do to stay on track and keep safe:

🚨 4 STEPS TO STAY ON TOP OF YOUR LEARNING:
1️⃣ CHECK FOR OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS 📲
Verify class suspensions through official channels (LGU, PAGASA, DepEd, or the Aroroy NHS Official FB Page). Avoid sharing unverified news!

2️⃣ RECEIVE YOUR SIMPLIFIED ACTIVITY SHEETS (SAS) 📄
Keep an eye on your official class group chats (Messenger/Viber) or online platforms. Teachers will distribute your Simplified Activity Sheets (SAS) digitally or issue guidelines for printed module pickups.

3️⃣ COMPLETE YOUR TASKS AT HOME ✍️
Read instructions carefully and work on your SAS exercises diligently. Use your dedicated SAS Notebook to write your answers and remember to take short breaks!

4️⃣ SUBMIT UPON YOUR RETURN 🏫
Ensure all required tasks are completed. Bring your SAS Notebook and accomplished activity sheets on the very first day in-person classes resume.

📌 ANHS KA-SUMBONG: Ligtas, Lihim, at Protektadong Sumbungan Laban sa Bullying!

Isang ligtas at mapagkalingang paaralan para sa bawat mag-aaral—ito ang pangako ng Aroroy National High School.

Alinsunod sa DepEd Order No. 40, s. 2012 (Child Protection Policy), ang ating Child Protection Committee (CPC) ay patuloy na nagpapatupad ng *zero-tolerance policy* laban sa anumang anyo ng bullying, pang-aabuso, o harasment sa loob at labas ng ating kampus.

Upang mas mapadali, mapabilis, at maprotektahan ang pag-uulat ng mga ganitong insidente, opisyal nang inilulunsad ng ANHS-CPC ang **"ANHS Ka-Sumbong"**—isang confidential online reporting portal.

📢 SAFETY FIRST: Earthquakes Can Happen Anytime! 🚨

Earlier today at around 8:54 AM, Aroroy National High School experienced a minor earthquake. We are happy to report that all students, faculty, and staff are completely safe and unharmed!

Thanks to our regular safety drills, the ANHS community knew exactly what to do. Our teachers immediately guided the students to execute the DUCK, COVER, and HOLD protocol inside the classrooms before orderly evacuating to our designated open areas outside.

Safety is a habit, and a quick reminder never hurts. Here is what we must always remember during an earthquake:

🏢 If you are INDOORS:
DUCK: Drop down to the floor on your hands and knees.

COVER: Take cover under a sturdy desk or table. If none is available, protect your head and neck with your arms.

HOLD: Stay under cover and hold on to your desk or table until the shaking stops, ready to move with it if it shifts.

🌳 If you are OUTDOORS:
Move immediately to an open area.

Stay away from trees, buildings, walls, and power lines.

Kudos to our proactive faculty and calm, cooperative students for handling today's minor tremor with excellence! Stay safe, alert, and prepared, classmates! 💙
