The CSUN Astronomy Club will be up and running by the Spring 2014 semester. Stay tuned for updates! Spring 2014 will be our first semester.
The purpose of the CSUN Astronomy Club is to gather people interested in astronomy into a social setting to enjoy astronomy-related activities (such as stargazing and watching meteor showers), and to discuss discoveries and current events in astronomy. We hope to attract both people with a casual interest in astronomy and people with highly technical knowledge of astronomy into a common setting in which both may flourish. We will meet monthly on campus to discuss club-related goals and events.
