Did you know that the Pascal's triangle which is used to determine the coefficient of a binomial expansion was named after the French mathematician, philosopher and physicist Blaise Pascal but did not claim recognition for the discovery because such triangle was first introduced by a Chinese mathematician, Chu Shihchieh in 1303.
