I have attached the FIUMB schedule for the day. Alumni are all welcomed to join us for every event whether you are going to play an instrument or not. Please come and celebrate our history. I recommend that you register for Roar Lounge, but I do have game tickets and some extra credentials for the game.

This Week's Alumni of Note: Jessica Amores Diaz
Jessica Amores Diaz graduated with a BM and MS in Music Education and was a high school Band and Orchestra director for seven years in the Miami-Dade County Public School system. She continues to direct and play in musicals at Robert Morgan HS and throughout the community. Jessica is the founder and Executive Director of the FIUsion community band. Ms. Amores is delighted to be back at FIU in her new role as the Academic Advisor for the FIU Music and Theatre students.

Hello All,

Things are shaping up for the 20th Anniversary Celebration of the FIUMB! If you are interested in playing in the stands with us, please visit our website: bands.fiu.edu, under the members tab/Internal music. There are pdf.'s of all of the stand music that we are currently using.

We only have a small inventory of extra instruments, so it would be best if you have your own. We are willing to try and check out something of ours if absolutely necessary.

More to follow....please make sure that you respond to the webforms so that we can make arrangements.

Hope that you are enjoying your summer! Just a quick update on the 20th Anniversary Celebration for the FIUMB.

We are planning on doing the event on Friday, Oct. 14, 2022 at the FIU vs. UTSA football game on CBSS! Planning meetings are currently taking place with our staff and the wonderful folk's in CARTA!
