This month, we are so excited to celebrate our amazing Mirian! 💛
Mirian has been caring for children and supporting families within our program for over 15 years, making her such a vital part of our Cottage community. She is known for always having a smile on her face, jumping in wherever she’s needed, and being someone both coworkers and families can always count on.
Our team shared that Mirian’s kindness, dedication, and positive attitude make such a difference each and every day — and that the Cottage simply wouldn’t be the same without her! 🐻✨

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms, grandmas, and mother figures! 💐 Thank you for the endless love, patience, and care you pour into your little ones each day.

This week, we had the joy of spoiling our amazing Growing Cubs Cottage staff for Teacher Appreciation Week & Childcare Provider Appreciation Day! 💛
Our team enjoyed a catered lunch, delicious waffles made by Perla & Mirian, a snack basket full of goodies and beautiful spring flowers to brighten their week 🌸
We are so incredibly thankful for each and every one of our staff members. Thank you for loving our young cubs so well, holding space for their big emotions, encouraging their creativity, and helping teach and guide their wonderful little minds each day. The care, patience, and dedication you pour into our children does not go unnoticed.

☀️Our youngest cubs are loving their brand new strollers- perfect for getting outside, enjoying a change of scenery, and exploring the world through new sights, sounds, and fresh air. There’s nothing better than happy babies and beautiful weather! 🐻💛

🌼We’re excited to recognize Miss Niki as our April Rockstar of the Month!💐

Although Miss Niki has only been with us for 5 months, she has already made a huge impact here at The Cottage. She does an amazing job engaging with our babies- spending time playing, talking, and nurturing meaningful interactions every day.
One parent shared, “Niki is very hard working, always smiling, and a great communicator with parents!” 💛
Her teammates agree that she’s been a wonderful addition to the team and is always willing to step in, help out, and support wherever needed.

This month we tried something new and let our Pre-K and Toddler Cubs help choose our Rockstar Teacher- and the votes are in! Congratulations to Ariana! 🎉

Although Ariana has only been with us for a couple of months, she has already brought such a bright light to our Cottage with her joy, warm smile, and incredible patience with our Cubs.

Her teammates shared:
“She’s always kind and loving. She loves to play with Pre-K but is very nurturing and gentle with babies as well. She always has a positive attitude and is constantly smiling!”

We are so lucky to have Ariana as part of the Growing Cubs Cottage family. Thank you for all the love and care you give our little Cubs every day! 🐻💛

✨ February Rockstar of the Month ✨

We are so proud to celebrate Jeniffer as our February Rockstar of the Month! Her warmth, patience, and joyful spirit shine through every day in her classroom. 💛
As one parent shared: “My son is so excited every day to tell us all the fun activities from his day- Ms. Jeniffer is always in there somewhere. Every day I drop him off, she is there with a smile and open arms, whether he's screaming or not. Thank you so much for being a rockstar to my son!”

We love finding little ways to spoil our amazing staff! 💛 They pour so much love, patience, and care into our littlest cubs every single day, and we’re grateful for all they do.
This week’s treats included a cozy hot cocoa bar with all the fixings, fresh doughnuts, and Raising Cane’s Chicken—because happy teachers make for happy kiddos! 🐻✨

🌟 January Employee of the Month 🌟
We are so excited to celebrate Irelis as our January Employee of the Month! 💛

Her coworkers shared that she greets everyone with a smile, communicates so well, is an incredible team player, and shines at problem solving.

That alone says so much—but hearing it echoed by our families makes it even more special. One parent shared:
“When I leave my baby with Irelis, I know they are in great hands 🙌 She’s amazing!”

✨ Friday Fun at the Cottage! ✨

Today’s adventure was all about goop! 🤩 Our little learners had a blast exploring this messy, slimy mixture made from simple cornstarch.

Not only is it loads of fun to squish, squash, drip, and scoop, but it’s also a fantastic sensory experience and an awesome hand-strengthening activity for tiny muscles.
