Exploring IoT Applications in Industries with Mentors of Change, Atal Innovation Mission, NitiAayog

An enlightening session on IoT applications in industries was led by
Mr. Atul Dubey and Mr. Rohit Ladsaria, Mentors of Change from Madhya Pradesh and Haryana respectively under Atal Innovation Mission, NitiAayog
on July 11,2024.

The session provided ATL PDP and AI students with crucial insights into product development processes.

Starting from the fundamentals of IoT and strategies for IoT-driven thinking, to comprehending IoT architecture, related terminologies, and Azure-based applications, the session covered a wide spectrum. It culminated with a deep dive into industrial IoT applications, offering invaluable learning opportunities. The session was highly interactive, using products developed by our young Dipsites as examples to illustrate IoT architecture concepts.

Following the group session, selected students received personalized mentoring to refine their projects.

Overall, the session proved to be an enriching experience, equipping Dipsites with practical knowledge and guidance in IoT applications for industries.

ATL TINKERPRENEUR 2021

A 9-week long summer bootcamp which equips students with key digital skills and frameworks to create their own online venture by the end of the bootcamp.

The bootcamp leverage the knowledge and hands-on involvement of ATL Mentors of Change and combine it with insights from industry leaders to provide students a thorough introduction to entrepreneurship.

Tinkering Together

ATL Summer Camp was a complete fun. Through Tinkercad software, kids could build the circuits virtually without any physical components. They learnt to build simple circuits containing LED and switch. From building basic circuits on breadboards to complex circuits such as Home Automation, the journey of Tinkering was full of experimentation.

As kids did troubleshooting to build their circuits right, they developed problem solving abilities as well. Tinkering Together made the learning altogether a memorable one!

A month long Training on Mobile and Web App development was organised by Plezmo Academy and Atal Innovation Mission in the month of August and September. Many of the budding technocrats of DPS GF actively participated in the self directed online course and made many interesting apps. Each of them have been certified by Plezmo and AIM(Atal Innovation Mission) for successfully completing the course.

ATL Unbox Tinkering Digital Summer Camp(25th June’20 -25 th July’20)!!

30 days intensive Online workshop which was full of learning future skills such as 3D printing, IoT, Arduino, Raspberry Pi , Scratch Programming, Design Thinking had been one of the most enriching experiences offered by Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog in collaboration with IBM and SRF Foundation.There were also weekly expert Guest sessions which provided exposure to the latest technologies being used in the world.

Ms Geetika Mehta, ATL Mentor participated in this training workshop and developed various projects during the workshop. Based on the creativity and innovativeness of her project designed to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19 for office goers and people going to market areas, she has secured third position in the summer camp and received Certificate of Excellence.
