We are a non-profit and have been serving Windsor schools since 2005.

We fundraiser to help the schools and teachers. Some of the things we have done are that we have bought school supplies for students at Mattie and Brooks, we have provided Zumba classes at Mattie, we vote on grants for specific grade level activities at Brooks and Mattie.

Please consider joining CStar so we can continue to serve the Windsor schools.

What a fun day yesterday at Mattie’s Field Day. ZumbaThon fundraisers earned the chance to slime the principal, Mrs. Chadwick, and Dean of Students Corey Lewis. Thank you to all that participated and those that helped pull this event off! A special Thank You to Mrs. Chadwick and Corey Lewis, we appreciate your support!!!😊

CSTAR was able to support Colonial Days this year for 5th Grade! Students dressed the part of colonial days and had a fun day of learning to make paper, write in calligraphy with a real ink pen, see and learn about some colonial artifacts, have a red coats blue coats "battle" after decorating their vests, built a "fort", learned about local natives and trading and got to make some leather pouches, necklaces, headbands. They got to make their own butter which they ate for lunch on their biscuits along with the rest of their "colonial times" meal in a pie tin. Students were truly thrilled to do their own dishes afterwards in buckets and lay them out to dry! They couldn't wait to ask anyone whose dish was done. If only they were that excited to do them at home! They got to hear some music and learn some dances of the time. Here are a few pictures of the days. A fun, memorable few days for 5th Grade!

C*Star would like to thank the students and parents at Mattie Washburn for making our first ZumbaThon a huge success. We thank the students for participating in the outdoor Zumba session and having a great time dancing. We thank the parents, family and friends of the parents for your generous donations! We are beyond appreciative for helping us reach our goal and then going beyond that goal!

🍕 We wrapped up our 2024 Read-A-Thon with our Mary's Pizza Shack field trip! Top fundraisers, top readers, and a few lucky raffle winners got to select a friend for a lunch fieldtrip! The kids had a blast walking and getting cars to honk as much as they loved making and eating their delicious pizzas! Another fun day for Brooks Elementary School students! 🍕

It’s been a busy May! CSTAR was able to spoil our WUSD staff with some sweet treats and Starbucks cards for Staff Appreciation week. Just a tiny token of our appreciation for all they do!! 🍇🍉🫐🍰🥨🍿💳☕️
