First week of June summer camp was a success! For the International Day of Play we hopped on the city bus and took a field trip to Waterfront Park. We splashed in the Pineapple Fountain, played “red light, green light“ on the grass, and finished with a walk down the pier to look out of the harbor. During the rest of the week we had family readers join us for some group story time, we got a sneak peak of the machines tearing down the building on the corner, and we splashed in the water and had fun in the sun on water day! We can’t wait to see what next week brings!

Aloha to the 2025-2026 school year and Aloha to Summer! We have had such a wonderful and fun year at ECDC. So much exploration, learning, and growth from our students and student teachers a like. It is always bittersweet as we say goodbye and watch them head on to the next chapter. This year it was a little bit harder to say good bye as our Butterfly Master Teacher, Mr. Nate is leaving ECDC to start a new chapter in the fall. We are so excited for where his path will take him but he will definitely be missed. Mr. Nate has been with us since Fall 2022. During that time he has helped ECDC grow in so many ways. Many of our 4- and 5- year-olds started a life-long journey of learning under his guidance and we know he will continue to encourage others to be life-long learners where ever he goes. Please join me in thanking Mr. Nate for all his hard work at ECDC and wishing him the best on his journey.

To the future 2039 graduates! We are so proud of you! These guys are moving on to 1st grade. We had so much fun celebrating our ECDC kindergarten graduates. We are going to miss their sweet smiles but we are so excited and proud for the adventures that are coming for them. Congratulations!

We had so much fun at our spring play day with families, teachers, and students, from past, present, and future! We always love hosting and sharing our school with our families. Lovely way to start our close to the spring semester. On to Summer we go!
