AIoT UNIMAS is proud to have partnered in this prestigious event.

Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) hosted its first ‘Raya Bersama AI’ programme, bringing together secondary school students, university undergraduates, and artificial intelligence (AI) experts to explore emerging technologies in a hands-on learning environment.

A Visit from Sekolah Kebangsaan St Gregory on 3rd December 2025 at AIoT Lab

3 December 2025 | The AIoT School Outreach Program 2.0, organised by the AIoT Research Group, Faculty of Engineering, UNIMAS and supported by One Medicare Sdn. Bhd. and Black Dot Management Sdn. Bhd., was successfully conducted at SK Goebilt, Kuching for 60 students from Year 4 to Year 6. Students were introduced to the basics of AI and IoT in an engaging and enjoyable way through simple explanations, demonstrations, and hands-on micro:bit activities. The programme was also facilitated by AIoT Student Ambassadors, who helped guide throughout the programme.

Overall, the programme achieved its aim of cultivating interest in STEM and providing early exposure to emerging technologies. We hope that this experience can inspires the students to continue exploring, learning, and innovating in the exciting world of AI and IoT.
