Symposium on Second Language Writing The Symposium on Second Language Writing is a premier international conference for teachers and researchers of second and foreign language writers.

This is a time-limited and space-limited offer, available only to a small number of participants who register early. Once those spots are filled—or the deadline passes—the regular rate will apply.

SSLW 2026 will feature an optional, one-day networking excursion on October 22, 2026, offering a relaxed opportunity to explore some of the most iconic cultural sites in Kyoto area while connecting with colleagues from around the world. Only 50 seats are available, first-come, first-served. Registration will open at 10 am on June 1 (Japan Time).
