District semifinals tonight! Come support the Rams in their away game against the Sailors at 7pm. Go Rams!
Brinley Dimon hitting a triple in last night’s District win against Lehigh. The Rams take on the Sailors tonight in District semifinals.
Reese Wilson went seven innings against Manatee HS on April 16th allowing 4 earned runs with 4 strike outs in the 7-5 win. Reese has 48 strike outs on the season and is looking to add to that record come Districts. Go No.12!!!

Brinley Dimon With 3 Hits As Riverview Sarasota Varsity Rams Beat North Port

Brinley Dimon collected three hits in three at bats, as Riverview Sarasota Varsity Rams defeated North Port 7-5 on Thursday. Dimon tripled in the first inning, tripled in the seventh inning, and doubled in the fifth inning.
Riverview Sarasota Varsity Rams got on the board in the first inning after Dimon tripled, scoring one run.
A home run to left field by H Perez gave North Port the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the first.
Makenzie Carcifero doubled down the left field line, which helped Riverview Sarasota Varsity Rams tie the game at two in the top of the third.
Riverview Sarasota Varsity Rams took the lead in the top of the fourth. Hailey Gammons grounded out, scoring one run, to give Riverview Sarasota Varsity Rams the leg up, 3-2.
L Boff homered to left field, which helped North Port tie the game at three in the bottom of the fourth.
In the top of the fifth, Riverview Sarasota Varsity Rams broke up the tie when Dimon doubled, scoring one run. Then a single by Alexis Balterson followed to extend the lead to 5-3.
North Port tied the game in the bottom of the fifth thanks to a double by C Perez, and a fly out by A Timmons.
In the top of the seventh, Riverview Sarasota Varsity Rams broke up the tie when Dimon tripled, scoring one run. Then a single by Katie Knowles followed to extend the lead to 7-5.
Reese Wilson earned the win for Riverview Sarasota Varsity Rams. The pitcher gave up six hits and five runs (four earned) over seven innings, striking out four and walking two. L Rosa took the loss for North Port. The starting pitcher went seven innings, giving up seven runs (five earned) on 12 hits, striking out seven and walking none.
Riverview Sarasota Varsity Rams amassed 12 hits in the game. Nicolette Forkan and Balterson each collected multiple hits for Riverview Sarasota Varsity Rams. Riverview Sarasota Varsity Rams were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Dimon had the most chances in the field with seven.
Perez provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led North Port with two runs batted in. The infielder went 2-for-4 on the day. Perez and Perez each collected two hits for North Port. North Port turned one double play in the game.
Next up for Riverview Sarasota Varsity Rams is a game against Southeast on Monday.
