As we announced, the Centre d'Etudes & de Recherches commented on the basic texts referring to African, European and Asian civilizations; as well as their underlying philosophies; we will show through a genealogical approach that representational and dualistic thought dates from Plato, through his allegory of the cave. The author makes several observations:

How the European societies that were constantly at war with each other, managed after 5 centuries to colonize at least 45% of the world's population; to subjugate their populations; to exploit their resources;
why since the 19th century it has been the West that has created the material, technological and scientific base? but why do non-Western societies not only borrow its technologies but also its political institutions (Parliament, banks, constitution of international currency) in order to modernize? the West is also a certain relationship to religion: Christianity, capitalism, parliamentary democracy, a system of government that entrusts power to representatives elected by universal suffrage, a system in which citizens are supposed to be equal;
modernizing means for a state to undertake reforms and impose reforms in order to increase the prosperity and power of the society it governs; it is always a social group that takes the initiative; a minority that has power
