SGT University proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of Uma Sharma, an esteemed alumna and innovator supported by the Community Innovation Fellowship (CIF) at the ACIC SGT University Community Innovation Centre.

Sharma has been selected among the 26 Grassroots Innovators of India under the Grassroots Innovator Recognition 2026, a prestigious honour conferred by the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog. The recognition celebrates innovators who create meaningful social impact by addressing community challenges through indigenous, community-driven solutions.

Adding yet another milestone to this remarkable achievement, Uma Sharma will be felicitated by the Hon'ble President of India at the Grassroots Innovator Recognition Ceremony 2026, to be held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi, on 31 July 2026.

Her achievement reflects SGT University's commitment to nurturing innovation, empowering changemakers, and creating leaders who drive meaningful impact for society. It is also a proud testament to the vibrant innovation ecosystem fostered by the ACIC SGT University Community Innovation Centre, where ideas are transformed into solutions that benefit communities.
