With our hearts full and our heads held proud we'd like to thank all those who in some way or another were involved in the resounding success of our 40th Anniversary event.
All of those working in the spotlight and behind the scenes show that Spirit Combat is more than just a martial art - it's a family.
Special thanks goes out to Malta's spirit combat pioneer - Adrian Axisa - and a huge congratulations from us all for becoming the first ever joint Soke of Spirit Combat international. This historic, monumental achievement reflects a lifetime of passion and is really something that all of Malta should be proud of.
Congratulations are also in order for new top rankings in Malta, including our new Kancho Gerald Vassallo and a new Master within our ranks - Alana Axisa.
Thanks to international guest Silvio Simac for 20 years of camaraderie.
Thanks to Soke Bill Cox and Grandmaster Garry Wilson who came from the UK to oversee the seminars and gradings - your continued guidance and input help to make the Spirit Combat Syllabus what it is.
A HUGE thank you to our club instructor Master Mario Saliba who has worked tirelessly to make this event happen and who continues to inspire all of our students on a daily basis.
Finally, a word of appreciation for our founder, Brian Dossett, who created the beautiful art of spirit combat and continues, to this day, to be a beacon of guiding light and the true embodiment of the warrior spirit. Though he could not be with us physically, he has sent this wonderful note to share with our instructors, students and audience.
Onwards and upwards from here.

Dear members,
We have a couple of exciting updates for this term:
- Classes are being held on Tuesdays and Fridays between 5.15pm and 6.45pm.
- We're happy to announce that classes are now back at the Gozo Indoor Sports & Aquatic Pavilion, in Victoria and we are training in the big hall overlooking the pool.
We'll be in full swing preparing for the huge international seminar we're organising on the 17th & 18th October. It's going to be a major event, and we look forward to sharing more details soon.
Please note that the sessions on Mondays and Thursdays are no longer active.
Should you wish to join, please get in touch.
Let's make this term our best yet - see you at training!
