Creating a home away from home
An engaging Kaizen Activity – 2 session was conducted in the AV Room for boarders from Classes 1–12, with a meaningful focus on normalising homesickness, fostering emotional safety, and building trust within the boarding community.
Students openly shared their journeys—from initial feelings of homesickness to forming deep bonds and friendships that make school feel like home. It was truly heartening to see both new and senior boarders come together, expressing their emotions and strengthening their sense of belonging.
A beautiful reminder that at MGD, we don’t just grow individually—we grow together as a community.
Good luck MGDians—may this bond grow stronger with each passing day!
