Today, the children enjoyed reading the story An Amazing Snowman and then created their own snowman craft using cotton wool, paper, and collage materials. The children explored different textures and shapes while carefully assembling their snowmen, making connections between the story and their artwork.
This experience supported the development of fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, creativity, and imagination. It also encouraged language and literacy development as children discussed the story, shared their ideas, and expressed themselves through art. The activity promoted concentration, problem-solving, and confidence as children made independent choices during the creative process.
