Shihan Bowe, the man who brought Goshin Aikido out of Chitose Hokkaido. The only American promoted to sho-an by Shodo Morita - passed away on 21 November 2023. I was at his farewell training seminar (see picture), and we had a very profound conversation about his time in the military during that seminar.
