All things fire safety here at the co-op!! The kids got to have a hands-on learning experience about fire safety and the tools used during a fire!🚒🔥🧑🏼‍🚒

Such a HUGE thank you to Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department Inc. for coming to our school to teach our students all about what you do for those in our community and the importance of fire safety!

✨ A sweet tradition at LCNS— our annual Mother’s Tea! 🫖💐 . Our preschoolers had the best time sharing a special meal, decorating picture frames, and making precious memories with their moms🥰

The end of September has been all things apples!! 🍎🍏

Starting with a trip to the apple orchard, then using our apples we picked to make homemade apple sauce for snack time. The kids loved seeing how apple sauce is made!!

We then had some fun with the apples by measuring ourselves in "apples" 📏 and then an apple experiment. In our experiment we filled 3 different jars with oil, water and then vinegar and put apple slices in them all. In a week we will see which jar has brown apples and if any of them stayed white!

If you want to try your own Apple preservation experiment at home here are some directions as to what we did! 🍏✨

You will need :
- Cut up apples
- 3 containers to put the apples (see through would be best so you can see progress)
- Oil
- Water
- Vinegar

Directions :
- cut up your apples into slices
- fill one container with oil, one with vinegar, and one with water
- put apple slices in each container
- come back in a few days and see which one's browned!

We had our first official day of school today with lots of new faces and a revamped playground (thanks to our awesome parents) 🎊

We can't wait for all the fun, and learning that this year has instore for everyone!😀

And with that, we conclude the 2024/2025 school year!! This year was truly amazing, marked by phenomenal field trips, exciting experiments, joyous celebrations, fundraisers, and friendships were made. 🎊

Congratulations to our graduates Hazel, Isaiah, Holden, and Jeremy; we wish you all the best as you embark on the next chapter of your academic journey, and we have every confidence that you will achieve greatness. You all will be greatly missed!

We are deeply indebted to our incredible teachers, whose tireless dedication and passion created a nurturing environment that fostered growth, learning, and exploration. We eagerly anticipate our reunion next fall! 🍂🍂
