The YES-O Officer showing their commitment not only to environmental stewardship but also to community involvement. As young leaders, they walk with purpose carrying the message of unity, hope, and responsibility. Their participation in this meaningful event highlights their dedication to making a positive impact, not just within the school, but in society as a whole. With every step, they inspire others to take action and become part of the change.

On the 20th Day of September,the YES-O officer along with the Supreme Secondary Learner's Government (SSLG) and Campus Integrity Crusaders (CIC) Science Teachers and our Science Student Interns of Baybay National Highschool joined together at the Punong Pusngo to the participated Coastal Clean Up Activity.

The whole world participate in the International Coastal Clean Up. This activity ensure to get rid of pollution, make the animals living under water safety and to keep our ocean clean.

International Coastal Clean Up began over 35 years ago, in 1986, when communities united to address the growing problem of trash along coastlines. Linda Maraniss and Kathy O’Hara, inspired by a report on plastics in the ocean, mobilized volunteers to collect and document the trash, aiming to identify ways to eliminate ocean trash in the future .

On Sept 13 the YOUTH FOR ENVIRONMENT IN SCHOOLS ORGANIZATION (YES-O), planted hope, one tree at a time! Every sapling we nurture is a step toward a greener, healthier planet. Planting a tree isn’t just about adding greenery to our surroundings; it’s about planting hope for the future. Imagine a future where forests thrive, air is cleaner, and wildlife flourishes — all because of the small acts we do today. Let’s be the change-makers who give back to Mother Nature, one tree at a time. Let’s remember that each small act of planting trees contributes to a healthier, more sustainable world. Together, let’s root ourselves in nature’s wisdom, nurture growth with care and patience, and watch as our efforts blossom into a legacy of green for generations to come. Every tree planted is a promise to the Earth—let’s keep that promise alive. So grab a seed, dig deep, and watch how your actions grow into a legacy of life, love, and sustainability. In full support of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), Baybay National High School actively participated in the Simultaneous Earthquake Drill today, Sept 11, 2025 at 4:00 PM. Students, teachers, and staff demonstrated discipline and preparedness through proper duck, cover, and hold procedures—ensuring safety readiness in times of disaster. 🛡️💪

Last August 9, 2025, the YES-O officer along with the Supreme Secondary Learner's Government (SSLG) and Campus Integrity Crusaders (CIC) of Baybay National Highschool joined together at the Punong Beach Resort to their Coastal Clean Up Activity.
