The Kagiso Learning Aid Project (LAP) was founded in 2001 by the German Professor Dieter von Willert to provide a better education for children in rural areas of South Africa. It started at the Kitlanyang Farm School in the heart of the Kalahari. In 2007 it moved to Loeriesfontein and is now, since 2011, seated in Colesberg.
