The International Congress on Management of Energy, Earth, Environment, and their Resources (ICME3R'25) was successfully conducted from February 13-15, 2025, at Nesamony Memorial Christian College, Marthandam in collaboration with the International Environment Congress Association (IECA). The congress, held in a blended mode (both online and offline), provided a dynamic platform for researchers, academicians, and industry professionals to discuss futuristic trends in sustainable energy, environmental conservation, and resource management.
Inaugural Session & Opening Ceremony
The event commenced with a prayer by Rev. Starie Priscilal, Chaplain, NMCC, followed by the Tamil Thai Vazhthu. The Welcome Address was delivered by https://www.facebook.com/isacsobana.raj/?locale=en_GB Dr. C. Isac Sobana Raj, Co-Chair & Convener, followed by the Presidential Address by Dr. R. Sheela Christy, Principal, NMCC. Dr. S. Ginil Mon, General Chair & Organizing Secretary, introduced ICME3R’25 & IECA, setting the tone for the congress. The IECA was officially inaugurated by https://www.facebook.com/sabu.thomas.39904/ Dr. Sabu Thomas, and the Full Paper Proceedings were released by Dr. Santanu Das. The session concluded with felicitation and a vote of thanks by Dr. S. P. Selvin Pragalath Paul, followed by a photo session.
Keynote & Plenary Sessions

Day 1: February 13, 2025
• Keynote Session I: https://www.facebook.com/sabu.thomas.39904/ Prof. Dr. Sabu Thomas (Chairman, TrEST Research Park & Former Vice-Chancellor, Mahatma Gandhi University Kerala Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala) spoke on “New Opportunities in Sustainable and Green Bio-Nano Materials and Their Polymer Bio-Nanocomposites: A Circular Economy Approach”, highlighting innovative applications of nanotechnology in sustainable materials.
• Plenary Session I: Dr. Honey John (Professor, Department of Polymer Science & Rubber Technology, Cochin University of Science & Technology - School of Engineering (SOE) CUSAT) delivered a lecture on “Sustainable Environment for a Green Future”, emphasizing renewable resources and waste reduction strategies.
• The afternoon session featured Oral & Poster Presentations chaired by Dr. N. T. Nevaditha & Dr. C. Isac Sobana Raj, where researchers presented their latest findings on sustainability and energy management.
• A General Body Meeting of IECA and a Research Collaboration Discussion chaired by Dr. Sabu Thomas & Dr. Santanu Das facilitated academic and industrial partnerships.
Day 2: February 14, 2025
• Keynote Session II: Prof. Santanu Das (Indian Institute of Technology - BHU, Varanasi) discussed “Nano-scale Engineering of Two-Dimensional Functional Nanostructures for Developing Efficient Electronic, Optoelectronic, and Energy Devices”, exploring advancements in nanotechnology.
• Plenary Session II: Dr. G. Rajasekar (University of Madras - Guindy campus) presented on “Criminalizing Ecocide: An Effective Tool for the Protection of the Environment”, emphasizing legal frameworks for environmental sustainability.
• Keynote Session III: Dr. Rajan Jose (Ming Chi University of Technology, Taiwan) https://www.facebook.com/MCUT.MingChiUniversityOfTechnology/ spoke on “Sustainable Materials for Electrochemical Energy Storage”, addressing next-generation battery technologies.
• Plenary Session III: Dr. C. Muthuraja https://www.facebook.com// (The American College, Madurai) delivered a talk on “Gender and Just Energy Earth Environment World - Green Initiatives”, examining the role of gender equity in environmental conservation.
• Plenary Session IV: Dr. T. Gomathi https://www.facebook.com/dkmcollege/ (D.K.M. College for Women, Vellore) presented on “Biomaterials: Present and Future Trends”, exploring sustainable materials for biomedical and industrial applications.
Day 3: February 15, 2025
• Keynote Session IV: Dr. T. P. D. Rajan (CSIR NIIST, Thiruvananthapuram) discussed “Sustainability and Circular Economy of Metallic Materials”, offering insights into metal recycling and circular economy models.
• Plenary Session VI: Dr. J. Mary Gladis https://www.facebook.com/IIST.Trivandrum/ (Indian Institute of Space Technology, Thiruvananthapuram) spoke on “Innovations in Materials and Sustainability Challenges for Battery Manufacturing”, addressing challenges in developing sustainable battery technologies.
Valedictory Session & Closing Ceremony
The congress concluded with a Valedictory Session, where Dr. P. Metilda presented a report on the event, summarizing key discussions and research contributions. Dr. R. Sheela Christy, Principal, NMCC, delivered the Presidential Address, and the Chief Guest, Dr. Y. Jaya Vinse Ruban, appreciated the collaborative efforts in organizing a successful conference.
Awards & Recognition
• Outstanding Research Presentations were honored by Dr. T. P. D. Rajan, with winners announced by Dr. K. Rajakumar.
• Organizing Committee Members (OCMs) were recognized, with the honor presented by Dr. R. Sheela Christy and the list read by Dr. E. K. Kirupa Vasam.
• The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. S. Ginil Mon and the National Anthem, followed by a networking lunch.
