The Office of Culture and the Arts (OCA) proudly presents its 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 - “𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗩𝗔𝗗𝗢𝗥.” A theatrical journey into the stories, memories, and historical roots of Tagnipa, 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝘀 𝗘𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆.

Through the collective efforts of our student artists, creatives, musicians, dancers, researcher/s, and the entire OCA Production Team, history is transformed into movement, music, imagery, and storytelling - a story remembered, reimagined, and brought to the stage.

City College of El Salvador – Office of Culture and the Arts (CCE OCA) extends its heartfelt appreciation to the Xavier Center for Culture and the Arts (XCCA) for inviting our office to participate in PAGHANDURAW 2026: An Online Lecture Series on Stagecraft, held from July 8–10, 2026.

This meaningful three-day lecture series provides valuable learning experiences in Production and Events Management, Creative and Artistic Development, and Stage Management, led by distinguished professionals and practitioners in the performing arts.

We are sincerely grateful to Dr. Felimon B. Blanco, Dr. Hobart P. Savior, and Mr. John Mark Yap for generously sharing their expertise, insights, and experiences that continue to inspire aspiring artists and future cultural leaders.

The Xavier Center for Culture and the Arts (XCCA) successfully conducted PAGHANDURAW 2026, a three-day online lecture series held via Zoom from July 8–10, 2026, bringing together students, artists, and cultural practitioners for meaningful learning and professional development in the performing arts.

Mula sa ating mga baybayin hanggang sa iba’t ibang panig ng mundo, ang kasaysayan ng Pilipinas ay kuwento ng mga taong naglakbay, nakipag-ugnayan, at nagdala ng diwang Pilipino saan man sila makarating. Ang dagat ang naging tulay ng ating kalakalan, diplomasya, at ng milyun-milyong Pilipinong bumuo ng mga komunidad sa ibayong-dagat.

⚓ Ngayong Buwan ng Kasaysayan 2026, samahan ang NHCP sa paglalayag sa temang "𝗛𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗯𝗼𝗴 𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻, 𝗗𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗹𝗼𝗻." Sama-sama nating tuklasin ang mga kuwentong nagbuklod sa ating kapuluan at nag-ugnay sa Pilipinas sa daigdig. The City Government of El Salvador, Misamis Oriental, received the Certificate of Compliance from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) for successfully completing and submitting the Local Cultural Inventory for 2025, pursuant to the National Cultural Heritage Act of 2009.

This recognition reflects the city’s unwavering commitment to preserving, promoting, and protecting the rich cultural heritage and identity of El Salvador City for future generations.

May this achievement continue to inspire stronger cultural stewardship and community pride among Salvadorians.
