The provost has graciously agreed to meet with us at her house. We'll be meeting with her at 5:00 on Wednesday 18 October. The plan is to talk about some of the logistics of our group and what kind of administrative support me might want to ask about. Add this to your calendars.
For those of you who missed it, we had a good meeting this morning. (Sorry for scheduling this at the same time as the majors fair.) We decided that a next step might be to see about getting some administrative support for some mentoring efforts. This mentoring would be for faculty across all ranks. Discussions are underway with the provost about having a planning meeting at her house sometime soon(ish). Stay tuned for more details and have a great Friday!
