When the trajectory and transportation schemas are so alive, a giant spring is the next logical invitation right?

Magic is happening in the Monarch Class: it all started with a song and is evolving into a deeper dive! From silly stories, to serious art we can’t wait to see where their curiosities take them.

With spring in the air we’ve been gardening…there’s something special about starting with a trowel and ending with fingers in the dirt!

As educators we know this all much more than gardening, it’s:

-developing the muscles needed for writing

-aiding hand-eye coordination

-supporting patience through a multi-step, multi-day process

-an opportunity for taking turns and other social skills

-an experiment on which trowel is a good fit for them, the soil/roots, and the hole size they have in mind

-vocabulary development

-encouraging environmental stewardship and a deep connection to nature

& so much more, especially rewarding and FUN!

30hours/week
7:30-1 plus faculty meeting Wednesday 4-6
Medical and 401(k)

Reggio or lead teacher experience preferred
Strong music and movement teaching preferred
