The Values Department, together with Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD), Kabataang Pambansang Samahan sa Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao (KPSEP), and the Gender and Development Program (GAD), successfully carried out the Bigay Puso: Annual Feeding Program at Damoong Day Care Center on February 26, 2026.

The morning was filled with JOY, laughter, and the warmth of giving as volunteers and student leaders shared nutritious meals and heartfelt smiles with the young learners. Beyond feeding the body, the program aimed to nurture hope, kindness, and a sense of community among the childrenโ€”reminding everyone that service from the heart leaves a lasting impact.

This annual initiative demonstrates the power of collaboration among school organizations, highlighting how teamwork, empathy, and values-driven leadership can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our youth.

Through Bigay Puso, BKD and its partner organizations continue to inspire a culture of care, generosity, and Filipino valuesโ€”proving that every act of kindness, no matter how small, truly matters.

The spirit of Christmas was truly felt as the Values Club, together with Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD), Kabataang Pambansang Samahan sa Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao (KPSEP), and the Gender and Development Program (GAD), successfully conducted Project RegaLOVEโ€”a Christmas Gift-Giving and Special Program for our SPED learners, non-readers, and non-numerates at the school social hall.

Held from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN, the activity became a meaningful space where love, joy, and hope were shared beyond material gifts. More than presents, the program emphasized genuine connection, kindness, and the value of presenceโ€”reminding everyone that the true essence of Christmas is found in giving from the heart.

The room was filled with JOY, as laughter, warm greetings, and shared moments brought smiles to every face. The program reflected how simple acts of service and togetherness can create lasting happiness and strengthen our sense of community.

Above all, HOPE shone brightly throughout the activity. The experience served as a reminder that compassion and inclusivity can light the way forwardโ€”not only during the holidays, but in our everyday lives as well.

Through Project RegaLOVE, the Values Club and its partner organizations reaffirmed their commitment to nurturing empathy, care, and Filipino values among the youthโ€”making this Christmas celebration one that truly mattered.

The celebration of Filipino Values Month officially began with a heartfelt welcome address from Dr. Teresita Providoโ€”fondly known as the BTS Queen herselfโ€”setting a meaningful tone for the entire program.

Highlighting the importance of embodying true Filipino virtues in everyday life, Dr. Provido emphasized that values such as pagpapakatao, pakikipagkapwa, and pagkakaisa remain vital in shaping compassionate, principled citizens.

Quoting SUGA of BTS, she reminded everyone, โ€œYou were born to be real, not to be perfect,โ€ underscoring the essence of authenticity as a core Filipino trait. Her message resonated deeply, creating an atmosphere of unity, inspiration, and cultural pride.
