These 2 sessions are open to all those who have trained with me and have completed the following courses;
Intermediate Handgun & Low to NO Light.

These sessions are NOT full courses and are coaching sessions (3-4hrs) for those who have already attended these courses and are looking for an opportunity to practice these skills with me on the range live-fire.

Equipment needed,
All range gear PPE as discussed on the Intermediate Course,
Lighting spoken about on the Low to NO Light Course,

Round count (min/ dependent on how many evolutions you wish to shoot)

This course covers the following:-

Introduction
• A look into the human eye and the affects of low light to no light
and its interrelatedness with the effects of stress.
• An overview of hand held flashlights and pistol-mounted lights.
• Gear and equipment setup.
Practical
• Various handheld flashlight techniques with the use of a handgun.
• Stoppage and reloading drills.
• Shooting from behind cover.

The course starts at 14h00 sharp and runs for approximately seven (7)
hours @ C**t Shooting Range, Veralum.

Course entry requirements
Certificate of Competency, Certificate of Proficiency and valid
licence for the firearm to be used on course.

Completed my Handgun Owners, Intermediate Handgun Course or equivalent
training with another trainer.

Have a good quality handgun, 2 x spare magazines (Pistol), 2 x Speed
loaders/ Stripper Clips or dump pouches (revolver), good quality
holster & Belt, good quality mag pouches or speed loader pouches, GOOD
quality handheld flashlight and spare batteries, remember if two is
one, one is none.

In addition to the above, you will require the following; a minimum of
120 rounds, preferably 200 rounds, personal food or snacks and
beverages for the duration of the course.

A personal First Aid Kit, include plasters and headache tablets.

A Petzl type headlamp will go a long way in aiding you with equipment
and gear setup in the dark. In addition bring any gear to make
yourself comfortable at the range.

Greetings and Salutations all. With the number of firearm owners now purchasing SLR’s for “sporting” purposes - having to make a decision on which platform to purchase primarily swayed by cost, availability, and what the latest trend is along with all the cool bolt on aftermarket stuff. So Fundikhono will be presenting a course specifically tailored to address this. Come run your long guns!!

Incorporated in the course will be good solid foundational skills taught on rifleman’s training, encompassing shooting platforms, reloading, dealing with stoppages. We will also touch on some movement, cover and concealment and transition from daylight into night. What a package!

This course is open to all that have completed - Unit Std Training Self Loading Rifle/Carbine. Contact Fundikhono today as bookings close on 22 June 2022. Ensure you have a S/L Rifle, 2 mags, 100 rounds of good quality ammunition, PPE etc.

This Skills session will be open to all those who have attended the “Full” Low to Light Course and focus will be on “greasing the groove” so bring your hand held flashlights and weapon mounted lights out and practice the skills learnt on course, shooting in Low to No Light with me.

Pistol Class Cape Town

Cape Town get ready for a Pistol Class being presented by Fundikhono Training Consultants Dean Nieuwoudt,
The Class will be run at Bellville Pistol Club on Sunday 06 March from 10H00 to 16H00
This pistol class will encompass two phases the first Intermediate Pistol Skills and the second Advanced Pistol Skills,

The Intermediate segment will include Draw Stroke within the context of the Force Continuum, Immediate Action Drills, Pro-Active and Re-Active reloading, audio & visual stimulus into the fight, pivot & strike techniques and some basic movement.

Legal Training

Greetings and Salutations all,
If you are a firearm/s owner in South Africa and carry or have access to a firearm for the purposes of Self Defense you would most certainly benefit from attending this lecture presented by an expert in the field of use of lethal force Mr Jacques Botha.
You will be lectured on the legal framework within the changing South Africa context aligned to the force continuum, and totality of the situation.
You will have the opportunity to postmortem previous cases and get an insight into case law.
In addition to this you will be given advice on the process to follow once you have used force, to the arrival of the first responders, through to the detectives and statements required of you.
This lecture will provide you with a better understanding of the Three (3) fights this preparing you for the third fight, it will most certainly prepare you should you ever find yourself forced into having to use force.
This lecture has been supported by SAGA Chairman Mr Damian Enslin who is a legal practitioner.
