On Tuesday, April 13th 2021, met with its entire staff of volunteers. The Board of Directors, Legacy Committee, Athlete Council, Development Committee, Media Committee, C.O.R.E. Committee, Professional Committee and Ethics Committee discussed what has been achieved within each group and our goals for the coming months.
There are close to 50 volunteer members working within the organization and we are actively looking for more people to get involved. USA Breakin’ is a community organization determined to create a culture that supports and empowers our dance athletes, and our power will always come as the result of our communal effort. Together we can and will continue to build an equitable, representative and formidable national team.

Yesterday USA Breakin’ submitted its Submission Application (of Membership Interest) to the USOPC to be recognized independently as the National Governing Body for Breakin’ in the United States. The Board of Directors and our Athletes Council made the unanimous decision together. The Athlete Council, comprised of elite athlete Bboys Lego, Boxwon, El Niño, Roxrite, Morris and Bgirls Sunny, Vanicia and Rascal Randi, has made it clear that they believe it is critical for our community to represent and govern ourselves. Today we are reaching out to everyone in our community to take a stand with our Breakin’ Athletes that Breakin’ should be governed by Breakers.

Morris “Bboy Morris” Isby, III began Breakin’ as a high school student in Sacramento,
CA. He danced at family gatherings as a child but didn’t realize that Breakin’ was his
calling until years later, when he was inspired by watching Battle of the Year: 1998 on
VHS.
The artistry and athleticism he saw in the battles inspired him to begin practicing
diligently wherever he could, at school and on college campuses when possible, but
mostly in his parents’ garage and living room.
Morris has won more titles and/or competitions than any other Breaker to date. He
continues to compete locally, regionally, and internationally, but has turned his focus to
bringing mainstream awareness to Breakin’ and mentoring others on how to better
themselves as dancers and compete at a higher level.
Morris is currently one of the stage managers for Game Entertainment at the
Sacramento Kings and has remained a member of their Breakers team. He is a
member of both Rock Force Crew and the Academy of Villains.
Ever the perpetual student, Morris still finds time to visit his parents and practice in
their garage.
