नमस्कार पालक हो,

सिंगापूरमधे आपल्या छोट्या बालमित्रांसाठी मराठी शाळा असावी असे मंडळाचे एक स्वप्न आणि पालकांची मागणी होती. त्या स्वप्नपूर्तीचा प्रयत्न मंडळाने मागील ३ वर्षे यशस्वीरीत्या केला. आत्तापर्यंत या उपक्रमाला पालकांचा, शिक्षकांचा, आणि स्वयंसेवकांचा भरघोस प्रतिसाद मिळाला. तुम्हा सर्वांना कळवण्यास आनंद होतो आहे की, रविवार ६ सप्टेंबर २०२० पासून मराठी शाळेचे चौथे वर्ष नव्या जोमाने आणि नव्या पद्धतीने सुरु होत आहे. कोविड-१९च्या सद्यपरिस्थितीत आपण हा उपक्रम online सुरु करणार आहोत. शिक्षक व स्वयंसेवक यावर्षी पुन्हा सुरु होणाऱ्या शाळेच्या तयारीला लागलेले आहेत.

आपल्या 'हसत खेळत मराठी' शाळेचे धोरण असे आहे:

- शाळेत मराठी बोलणे, वाचणे शिकवले जाईल. जास्त भर मराठी बोलण्यावर असेल.
गोष्टी, गाणी, खेळ आणि मुलांना आवडतील असे प्रकल्प अशा माध्यमांमधून मुलांना मराठी शिकवले जाईल.
- शाळा जरी सप्टेंबर २०२० मधे सुरु होत असली तरी शाळेत प्रवेश वर्षभरात कधीही घेता येईल. प्रवेश घेण्यासाठी कोणतीही फी नाही, पण मुलाचे स्वतःचे म.मं.सिं. सभासदत्व असणे गरजेचे आहे.

नावनोंदणीसाठी माहिती खालील प्रमाणे:
शाळेची वेळ: दर रविवारी सकाळी १०:३० ते ११:३०, Zoom द्वारे
वयोगट: ५ ते ११

साधने: हा उपक्रम सध्या आपण online राबवणार आहोत. त्यासाठी लागणारी व्यवस्था पालकांनी करावी (म्हणजे, Zoom client install केलेला लॅपटॉप/iPad/Tab, उपलब्ध असल्यास headphones). शाळेच्या सत्रांसाठी मुलांना पेन्सिल बॉक्स, छोटीशी वही, या व्यतिरिक्त इतर कोणत्याही साधनांची गरज नाही.

Dear Parents,

There has been a long-standing demand from many parents to help teach Marathi to their children. It has also been one of Maharashtra Mandal’s objective to help preserve and encourage use of Marathi language in the young generation and towards this, we have been running a Marathi language school for the past three years with active participation from volunteers, parents and students. This activity has been on hold since the start of the year due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Just as many activities have gone online, we are now looking to bring this activity to you through the same medium and are planning to start it from 6th September 2020.

We strongly encourage parents to take advantage of this online initiative and register your children at the earliest.

Hasat Khelat Marathi (Fun and Learn Marathi) will adopt the following guidelines
- Marathi speaking and reading will be taught during this activity, with more focus on speaking.
- This will be an activity-based learning club; storytelling, songs, fun games etc will be used to teach the children.
- Students can enroll throughout the year. There will be no fees for this activity, but we expect that the students take up MMS membership of their own.

Activity Details:
Time: Every Sunday: 10:30am – 11:30am
Age Group: 5 – 11-year-old

Requirement: Since the activity is online, parents are expected to arrange a device for the e-learning (iPad / Laptop / Tablet). We also encourage headphones. Students will also need usual writing instruments/notebooks etc.
