☀️ ABOUT ME☀️

My name is Alex, I am a stay at home mom and home daycare provider. I have been working in childcare and with children since 2009. I started my journey as an auntie turned into a babysitter, then as a camp counselor, to working as a nanny in various families homes, to working in larger daycare centres in different room settings with children ages 2y-12y, to working in a home daycare setting with children ages 7m-4. Over 13 years of experience with children of all ages and I enjoy every minute being around them. I completely fell in love with the home daycare setting and I told myself I would be opening my own one day.

My daycare has been open and running as of September 2023 and it has been such a fun and love filled journey with my amazing little daycare kiddos and families so far! 🥰🩵🦉

As a mother of two, an educator, and a spiritual soul, I chose to create a daycare within my home as an extension of your own. I prefer the home daycare setting because the connections made between educator and children are so much closer, one on one, and unique in many ways, this also applies to the connections your children will form with their new friends and how our families will also connect. All in the comfort of a home away from home.

I understand completely how difficult a decision like this can be, after all our children are our whole entire heart and we only want the best for them.

The overall happiness, comfortability and health of your little one is so very important to me. Manners are always taught and encouraged with love as is a very important educational component. As they grow, learning their letters, numbers, words, colours, shapes, basic math, etc, are all taught on an individual play based basis according to your child's developmental level.

It is an honour to be considered and entrusted with your sweetest little ones, and to help give you peace of mind while you are at work I will have a private and hidden Facebook group available for all the parents and grandparents of the kiddos in my care to join for daily updates, photos and videos as well as always being available VIA phone or text to ease your minds of your child's transition into a new place.

Hi everyone! I'm Miss Alex! 👋🏼

I am a SAHM and home daycare provider in Welland, ON. I have over 13 years of experience with children of all ages and I enjoy every minute being around them.

I started my journey as an auntie turned into a babysitter after taking my babysitting course, then along with babysitting I became a camp counselor. I also worked as a nanny in various families homesnwith children ages 3m-13y, larger daycare centres in different age group rooms with children ages 2y-12y, to finally working in a home daycare setting as a FT assistant with children ages 7m-4. And that was it for me, I completely fell in love with the home daycare setting and I told myself I would be opening my own one day. When I became a mother in 2018 my whole world changed and I knew my dream would come true in the future.

My daycare has been open, running and at capacity since September 2023! It has been such a fun, exciting, exhausting, heartfelt, rewarding journey with my amazing Little Blue Owls and their wonderful families so far! 🥰
