I've been thinking about this for a while. I use a lot of automated processes to get things done faster and retain valuable information. I also use the GTD methodology (not 100% yet, but enough that it helps keep me on track for the most part) to keep me as productive as possible. This particular article explains how I say something out loud, and save it as text directly to one place I check on a weekly basis. It is incredibly helpful to me, and perhaps it could be helpful to you.
