for grade 10.(ideal gases)
an ideal gas is a hypothetical gas whose molecules occupy negligible space(zero volume) and have no interaction(forces) between them.

in grade 10 you dealt with kinetic theory of matter but this year you gonna focus on ideal gases(third state of matter) and that study is called KINETIC THEORY OF GASES.

KINETIC THEORY OF GASES.
describes gas as a large number of submicroscopic particles such as atoms or molecules, all which are in constant random motion. the rapidly moving particles constantly collide with each other and the walls of the container they occupy.
it explains macroscopic properties of gases such as temperature, viscosity,pressure,volume and thermal conductivity.

among this macroscopic properties we will only focus on pressure, volume and temperature.

Pressure:a measure of the number of collisions of the gas particles with each other and the walls of the container they occupy.

Temperature: measure of the average kinetic energy of the gas particles.

Volume: space occupied by matter

School opening day is around the corner and i will be willing to assist anyone who has a problem with relevant subjects. Also ill be offering saturdays classes at inanda comprehensive highschool starting from february and the cost is only R100 per month,cheap price for quality knowledge of science and mathematics. please people tell your friends about this page. ill start posting school work in january, ill start with matric pre calculus which is bit hard for most students while it should be the easiest. please tell your friends so everyone who can be assisted from grade 10 to 12
