The Joint Master Course on Maritime Spatial Planning is a two-year advanced professional Master Program, where three high-rated European Universities participate: Università Iuav di Venezia as coordinator, University of Sevilla, University of the Azores.

Students will familiarize with key issues involved in policy formulation and Planning Strategies for Maritime
Space, in order to improve the management of resources from an environmental, economic, social
and legal perspective within the framework of maritime policies.

Progetti SUPREME e SIMWESTMED

La Commissione Europea ha finanziato i progetti relativi alla MSP nel Mare Mediterraneo, nominati SIMWESTMED e SUPREME, rispettivamente per la parte occidentale ed orientale dello stesso mare.
CORILA è Coordinatore del progetto SUPREME, la partnership italiana coinvolge il Ministero delle Infrastrutture e Trasporti, il Ministero dell’Ambiente e per la Tutela del Territorio e del Mare, e CORILA che associa in questi progetti il Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche – Istituto di Scienze Marine e l’Università IUAV di Venezia. La partnership europea include tutti i Paesi Membri dell’Unione che si affacciano sul Mediterraneo.
Per quanto riguarda SIMWESTMED, CORILA è partner, la compagine italiana coinvolge gli stessi ministeri ed enti associati.
Il launching event dei due progetti è previsto nei giorni 27 e 28 febbraio a Roma con la conferenza internazionale dal titolo “Maritime Spatial Planning in the Mediterranean, an occasion for Blue Growth”.
