Pride Month is here! 🌈
Every student and every teacher deserves to feel safe, respected and seen in their classroom and community.
For years, STF members and staff have shown up at Pride celebrations across Saskatchewan. These photos reflect our ongoing commitment to visibility, allyship and belonging.
We will continue to show up and stand together.
Happy Pride!

What’s really going on in Saskatchewan classrooms? Teachers told us loud and clear. 📣
More than 3,500 teachers shared their experiences in the 2025 STF Member Survey and the results highlight a profession under pressure.
Satisfaction with teaching is declining, while class size and complexity continue to grow across the province. Violence and harassment are also on the rise in classrooms.
Despite it all, teachers continue to build strong relationships with students and create welcoming respectful learning environments.
Their message is clear. Students need more supports and teachers need the resources to provide them.

Moments that help shape the future of teaching! 📸
Last month’s Annual Meeting of Council brought together councillors and STF Executive members to make important decisions and share ideas that support teachers across Saskatchewan.
So what does a councillor do? They wear a few different hats! They connect local teachers with the provincial organization, share feedback and information, help make decisions about how the Federation runs, and speak up in support of the profession.
Take a look at a few highlights from this important work in action 👇

Spring cleaning, but make it a team effort! 🌿🧤
STF staff rolled up their sleeves and hit the Meewasin Trail to help with the annual spring cleanup! As the snow melts each year, it reveals a winter’s worth of litter that needs to be cleared away so the trail can shine again.
It is a great way to get outdoors, enjoy the warming weather and make a real difference in the community we care about.
We are proud to support the places that bring people together and keep our communities vibrant.
Take a look at these moments from the day. 💚

Click play on professional learning that actually fits your life! 🎧📘
Teachers told STF Professional Learning they wanted meaningful learning without the barriers of travel costs, time away from classrooms and logistics. STFPL listened.
👉 The result is a growing suite of "just-in-time" asynchronous courses that can be accessed anytime, anywhere across Saskatchewan. What started as a goal of four courses quickly expanded to 12 based on strong member interest.
This shift is changing how professional learning is accessed and experienced across the province.
