After school Robotics 3rd -6th
In 2015 or 16 I believe, I received training to teach robotics. I remember wondering how this was in my wheelhouse. However, I had so much fun as a student during that PD and couldn’t wait to share it with students. I worked with the robot on weekends to gain experience (student perspective) and attended the same “beginners” training repeatedly over the first few years. After 4 yrs at elementary I then moved to middle school where I have been coaching ever since till this year. I thank everyone who has supported me and students.
I made a big decision & change this year. I moved to Morocco for a 6th grade teaching position. Guess what? I’m still doing robotics. I hope to have the opportunity to share my experience and build more in an international setting. I love teaching the problem solving, analytical, strategic, creative aspects of robotics and… it’s a playful activity too. This page will now share robotics in Morocco, primarily CAS, Casablanca American School.
