The Pre-Employment Seminar for the Graduating Class of 2026, held on April 30, 2026, at Plaza Enrique Braganza, marked a significant step in preparing future professionals for the opportunities and challenges of the working world. Guided by the theme, “Soar High Eagles: Embrace your journey with Integrity, Elevate your future with Excellence and Vision,” the seminar inspired graduating students to pursue their aspirations with purpose, competence, and professionalism.

Conducted by the Department of Labor and Employment, the event provided meaningful discussions and practical insights on career readiness, workplace ethics, employment opportunities, and professional growth. The seminar served as a valuable platform for students to strengthen their confidence and readiness as they transition from academic life to their respective careers.

As the graduating class prepares to embark on new endeavors, the institution continues to uphold its commitment to nurturing individuals equipped not only with knowledge and skills, but also with integrity, excellence, and vision for the future.

The Graduation Ball 2026 was a remarkable evening of elegance, culture, and celebration, bringing together graduating students, esteemed faculty members, and staff in honor of the academic achievements and shared milestones of the graduating class. Held on April 22, 2026 at Don Leopoldo Sison Convention Center, the occasion embodied sophistication and tradition through the exquisite display of Filipiniana and Neo-Ethnic attire, reflecting both heritage and modern artistry.

The event was filled with meaningful moments of fellowship, music, and dancing as the academic community gathered to commemorate the dedication, perseverance, and excellence demonstrated by the graduates throughout their academic journey.

Beyond its grandeur, the celebration served as a tribute to the accomplishments of the students and the enduring bonds formed within the institution.

Golden West Colleges, Inc. celebrated Women’s Month through meaningful moments of learning, connection, and appreciation.

On March 11, 2026, women employees and students from different departments gathered for a Women’s Health and Wellness Seminar focusing on breast health and cancer awareness, cervical health and cancer awareness, and PCOS awareness. The seminar aimed to raise awareness about women’s health, promote preventive care, and provide practical guidance for students’ and employees overall well-being.

With the guidance of Dr. Louielyn V. Paragas, Medical Officer III and Dr. Gmelenia B. Macaraeg, Medical Officer III from the City Health Office, participants gained valuable insights on how to better care for their health. This activity was made possible through the support of Dr. Ma. Victoria Carambas, City Health Officer of Alaminos City, Pangasinan, whose assistance helped bring the seminar to life.

The celebration continued on March 13, 2026, with a simple yet meaningful fellowship and appreciation gathering for all women employees. The afternoon was filled with excitement through raffle draws, accompanied by a heartfelt serenade from the male instructors, and made even more special with the distribution of simple tokens of appreciation, such as crochet flowers and scrunchies.

More than just a celebration, these activities served as a reminder of the strength, resilience, and importance of women in the community. Golden West Colleges, Inc. remains committed to honoring and empowering women—not only this month, but every day.
