Florida Rules about Liens on your Property!

Did you know?

When a husband or wife agrees to improve a property that's owned by the other spouse (or both), the spouse who made the agreement is considered to be acting on behalf of the other. This means that if the improvement work leads to a lien (a legal claim on the property for unpaid work), it can affect the property owned by the other spouse as well.

However, if the spouse who didn't make the agreement objects to this, they must notify both the contractor and the local clerk's office within 10 days of finding out about the contract.

Te paro la policía mientras estabas conduciendo? Aqui tienes una guía básica:

1) Estaciona tu vehículo con cuidado (usualmente a la derecha, ten cuidado con el trafico)

2) Documentos a mano - identificación, licencia de conducir, registro del vehículo, y comprobante de seguro

3) Derecho de permanecer en silencio. Solos las preguntas razonables, nombre apellido, etc.

4) No le des autorización a la policía que registre tu vehículo.

5) El policía tiene derecho de ordenarle que salga del vehículo.

6) Dependiendo por la razón la cual el policía lo detuvo, puede existir razón legal para registrar su vehículo.
