Happy first day of winter quarter!
We hope everyone had a safe and warm winter break! As school begins again, we understand that this may be challenging due to stress and uncertainty with the corona virus variants. We want to remind you that we have resources for you!
Please reach out to Jen Nguyen, our clinical counseling liaison for health sciences for any questions or schedule your appointment with the student portal - http://uwccportal.pointnclick.com/

Every year, UW Rho Chi holds an initiation banquet to welcome our new initiates. Due to unprecedented times, we were unable to hold our 2020 event. Last week, we were able to celebrate our class of 2022 and class of 2023 initiates at a virtual initiation banquet. Thank you to our advisors, Dr. Jenny Wong and Dr. Doug Black, our keynote speaker, Dr. Jasmine Mangrum, and Dean Sullivan. Thank you to the family and friends who joined us on this very special evening. Lastly, thank you to the newest Rho Chi initiates for coming and congratulations on all your many accomplishments. We hope that you take Dr. Mangrum's message on social injustice and what you can do to help with you as you practice pharmacy.

Grab a nice cup of coffee & join us for our Coffee Talk, an informal discussion group where students have the opportunity to explore a topic that is relevant to pharmacy practice. During the discussion, students can share what they’ve learned through their own research, ask questions, and discuss how therapies are used in various clinical settings.
This quarter Coffee Talk will be about Community Acquired Pneumonia and Pneumocystis jiroveci Pneumonia (PJP) Prophylaxis with PGY1 UWMC Pharmacy Practice Residents Anna Liu and Jessica Li, who will be helping to facilitate the discussion!
Interested? We are accepting the first 10 students who sign up! Sign up here:
