Homeschooling art class last week = blue tape + sidewalk chalk. Saw this on a couple blog posts, and indeed, it's "chalk-full" of at least an hour of fun, even for a preschooler!

Baby feet. Mama out for a stroll. Heart melts. Successful transition from car to stroller - baby keeps napping! It's that moment when you realize the P**a carseat's dream canopy is has lived up to its promise... so dark, cozy and safe. Snuggled in tight with an swaddle blanket... this gear is definitely worth it, helping getting out with baby so much easier. And cuter.

We're back! I just had a baby 4wks ago, and I can't wait to share some of my very favorite, essential items with you! Baby gear has improved so much over the last few years.

Starting with the - it's a serious game changer. I didn't have this with my first kiddo 5yrs ago, and instead I would place him in a with some precariously positioned blankets and stuffed animals to help him feel secure. Now, the snuggleme gets it done so beautifully, and he sleeps so well.

Post-election support group!! Let's get together, support one another, listen, learn, and then talk about the peaceful ways we can take action and stand up for human rights. Spread the word, email for the address, and remember to be peaceful and practice self-care in the meantime. .....................................
For anyone in the LA area who feels lost, who doesn't know what to do now, needs a safe place to cry, needs support, needs to just be somewhere and listen, wants to speak up and take action, wants to make a difference, wants to do more than just post on social media, wants to protect human rights, wants to spread love, and so much more... we are here for you. I'm not sure exactly how this first meeting will go, but it's a start. Let's get together and process. Then let's organize and make plans for how we will stand up to the hatred that is brewing in our streets. Never again. We will learn from the past and we will take action immediately. We will spread a message of love and support. I have ideas and I want to help you know that you are still in control of your future, and there is so much work to be done. We can do it if we come together in love and peace. We can't do it without you. Please join us. Saturday morning 10am. All ages welcome.

Read about how too many choices can overwhelm children's mental development. "Childhood serves a very real purpose. It's not something to "get through." It's there to protect and develop young minds so they can grow into healthy and happy adults. When society messes too much with childhood, young brains react.
