Somehow, along the way, you stopped being “just” our teachers. Maybe it was the way you knew when to push and when to pause, or how your dynamic—equal parts chaos and care—made even the dullest days feel bearable. Maybe it was because your room always felt a little less like school and a little more like home.
We joke about calling you Mom and Dad, but the truth is, that’s exactly how it felt. Not because you spoiled us (you didn’t), but because you showed up for us—consistently, patiently, and with the kind of love that didn’t need to be said out loud to be felt.
