🌵ZaNa Hai is more than a place.

It’s a vision for a different way of living ✨

✨A place where mornings begin with birdsong instead of notifications.

☀️ Where sunsets are shared around a fire.

🍃Where the land is cared for as deeply as the people who walk it.

🪷Just outside San Miguel de Allende, we’re creating an intentionally small sanctuary of only 4 private A-frame cabins surrounded by meditation gardens, regenerative landscapes, a traditional Temazcal, a natural swimming pond, and gathering spaces designed for connection.🌵

🧘Over the years, ZaNa Hai will also become a home for retreats, workshops, plant medicine ceremonies, natural building, permaculture, and transformational experiences led by teachers and guides from around the world.

✨Our vision is to create a place where people come to learn, heal, reconnect, and return home to themselves.

This isn’t a resort.

It’s a living sanctuary.

✨ What a time to be alive!

Incredible humans,

Yes, the world feels messy. Yes, it feels uncertain. But deep in my bones, I trust that things are not falling apart — they are falling back together.

A few weeks ago Luca and I returned from an unexpected extended trip to Cuba. What began as a flight cancellation became one of the most beautiful gifts — witnessing the resilience, joy, and humanity of the Cuban people.❤️

When Luca went back to school he said, “Mama, my friends missed me so much! They were all in front of me asking about Cuba. I told them about Che Guevara, the revolution, the to***co plantations, and that people didn’t have electricity but they danced all the time. They are poor but very happy. I don’t think my friends understood what I was talking about… but then I told them about the ocean and how much we swam in it. Ah! And that Cuba has the best bread in the world!”

My Luca constantly reminds me that life itself is the greatest classroom.

And speaking of new chapters…

✨Familia, we are about to launch the A-Frame cabins at ZaNa Hai.

These cabins are not just homes in nature.

Owners will become accionistas (shareholders) in a protected sanctuary dedicated to:

🌿 land restoration
🌿 holistic wellbeing
🌿 retreats and learning spaces
🌿 regenerative living

❤️The cabins will allow us to fund the holistic center — ceremonial spaces, regenerative land systems, workshops, retreats, a living classroom for soil, water, and spirit.

This is not just real estate.
✨It is stewardship.
✨It is belonging to something meaningful.
✨It is building a legacy that can outlive us.

✨2026 Hasn’t Started Yet✨

I don’t know about you, but I’m still getting ready to close out 2025. Lately, what has resonated with me is the idea that a year truly begins with the energy, force, and light of Spring—not with the quiet darkness of winter.

2025 is the Year of the Snake, and it doesn’t end until February 16th. We’re moving toward the Year of the Horse, and learning about its meaning made everything click for me.

🐍The Snake represents shedding old skin—letting go of the past, embracing evolution, intuition, and growth. It calls for introspection, resilience, and releasing old patterns to move forward with purpose.

I’m still feeling this deeply. ZaNa Hai has gone through this process too, and we are now emerging…

🐎The Year of the Horse brings momentum. Life responds to your direction. This is a year for clear goals, confident decisions, and bold, forward movement.

It’s not about standing still—it’s about taking the reins, and staying disciplined as the pace picks up.

So no, I’m not in 2026 yet. I’m still wrapping things up personally—reorganizing, strategizing goals, and refining visions.

🏡At ZaNa Hai, we are letting go of what no longer serves us. We are working on a new Asociación Civil that will allow us to better serve the land and the people who will own cabins, so we can build a holistic space that supports and nourishes hundreds of people.

We are shedding—and soon, we’ll be galloping with all the love and strength needed to make this vision real.

🏖️By the way, my son Luca and I are heading to Cuba next week! Ahh, the perfect place to shed a little more, eh? 😄 One day I’ll tell you the story behind this trip! But we did it. We’re going to Cuba!
