1) Membership:
We are an exclusively volunteer run club, free for students. Additionally we sell club gear and ask for a small registration fee for larger events like tournaments and so we can keep you well supplied with equipment and fun, fresh activities. MESSAGE US TO JOIN OUR WHATSAPP GROUP AND MEET NEW PLAYERS!
2) Practice times and locations:
Drop-ins are held at the Athletic Centre on Saturdays from 12PM to 2PM
*Please note that these times are subject to change based on availability that the University of Toronto
3) Rules:
We attempt to keep practices flexible and fun. We like to see that everyone who comes out should have an opportunity to play others that day. All members are required to adhere to basic rules of safety, sportsmanship and court etiquette. We are here to provide you with a fun, easy way to play squash with other UofT members and to practice your skills and learn some basic techniques if you are still learning. If you would like to receive formal training, the Athletic's Centre and Hart House both offer lessons from seasoned squash players from the Varsity squash team.
-Singles matches: (games to 11, point-on-serve, best 2/3 games)
-King's court with up to 5 members
-Playing outside of drop-ins to develop and enhance skills
4) Events:
Usually 2 tournaments are offered each year (fall and spring). Further details will be posted when they come available. Socials may be hosted outside of squash practice. Have an idea about a fun event? Mention it to your club exec!
5) Communications:
-weekly updates about practice times and locations through the whats app group chat or our page. For access to the whatsapp group, send us a private facebook message or as a club exec.
