Still yesterday night (15th July), we visited HE. Sen. Rabi'u Musa Kwankwaso PhD at his residence in Maitama to present The Faculty of Engineering and Engineering rechnology Final Year Magazine we intend to launch in his honor themed; "SUSTAINABLE EVELOPMENT. Why Engineers should engage in Politics and Policymaking".

If you could remember in 2023 The President Tinubu Administration sponsored celebrities/ influencers to India to attend seminar on CNG/ EVs. While we acknowledged that the celebrities are in the best position to influence individuals to shift from IC Engines to CNG Vehicles/EVs, engineers are in the best position to ensure the seamless implementation of the PI-CNG.

Therefore we need a successful Engineer like Sen. Kwankwaso who achieved and contributed alot to policymaking, sustainable development, human capital development, education and engineering profession in Nigeria to serve as an inspiration to the next generation of Engineers who once felt that politics is not for them or they're only limited to design studios and project sites.

Ahamdulillah Sen. Kwankwaso has accepted our proposal and ensured us that he will always be there to support young people.
