Mrs. Gerlach's 1st Grade All-Stars

Last day of school is tomorrow. Students get released from 1-1:15pm.

What a fun day! We started the day by reading a story in the cabin, followed by hide and seek with some 3rd grade friends. We finished the day with some outside fun in the sun games.

Happy graduation day to our high school helper, Hannah. We were lucky enough to have Hannah in our room everyday this year. A few kids today said, ”I already miss her.” We miss you already Hannah and wish you nothing but the best.

Today we went to the high school for a petting zoo put on by the Brodhead FFA.

Last week we welcomed another mystery reader to our classroom. She is tall, used to be a teacher in Brodhead , and wears glasses. Dominic guessed correctly it was his mom!

We went out to the track and got a little bit more exercise in for E day!

Cowboy Day!

Today was book day. Students brought in their favorite book from home. We enjoyed a few of these books and even had a friend read to us.

Yesterday was appreciation day on our abc countdown to the end of the year. Here is just two of the many people we thanked for all that they do.

Last week we welcomed another mystery reader into our classroom. He works with farmers, lives on a farm, and has cattle. Colton was pretty excited to see his dad walk through the door!
