MISS GREEK PAGEANT--Delta Tau Delta's Philanthropy

Delta Tau Delta's annual philanthropy in which each sorority on campus selects one contestant to represent them in our Miss Greek Pageant. Proceeds from this event benefit the American Cancer Society and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. This year, Delta Tau Delta donated just over $16,000 to the American Cancer Society and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

DANCE MARATHON @ UF

Paired with the lovely ladies of Delta Phi Epsilon, our chapters won our tier category for Dance Marathon 201 , which is based on total money fundraised and spirit points. Together the chapters raised over $110,000 for the Children's Miracle Network. Paired with the lovely ladies of Delta Damma, our chapters won the 2016 Miracle Cup. Once again, J Our chapters raised over $200,000 for the Children's Miracle Network.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

In addition to the number of community service projects Delta Tau Delta participates in, our chapter is proud to note that we have started our own program, DELTS MAKE A DIFFERENCE. The program involves our chapter making weekly visit to a local community center, where we mentor underprivileged children.

SOCIAL EVENTS

Delta Tau Delta enjoys numerous socials with the fine women the University of Florida has to offer. We also have a number of parties and grab-a-date functions throughout the year. These events include woodsers, camp-outs, trips to Ginnie Springs or Lake Wauburg. and themed parties, such as our annual crush party.

GAMEDAYS

Gameday weekends at Delta Tau Delta are like none other. From the countless alumni who return to Gainesville for Gator football to the pre-game festivities at the house, each fall semester at Delt is met with eager anticipation. Every gameday we enjoy the company of a sorority we've invited to the tailgate and cookout we host for the game. With the best location on campus, right across the street from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, gamedays at Delta Tau Delta are unparalleled to anywhere else. Gainesville takes pride in its Gator football traditions, and Delt is certainly no exception.

ROADTRIPS

In the fall semester, Delta Tau Delta organizes several roadtrips to away games. Brothers and their guests leave Gainesville to tailgate and enjoy Gator football games in other cities and states. The annual Florida/Georgia game in Jacksonville is particularly popular. Last fall, the gentlemen of Delta Tau Delta traveled to Vanderbilt and LSU for the games. This fall, we will be traveling to Nashville for the Vanderbilt game. In the spring, roadtrips and spring break vacations are another way to spend a long weekend or break from class. Furthermore, for the past two years we've enjoyed our luxurious formal at Remy's Bar in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
