عبدالولی خان یونیورسٹی مردان اور دنیا کے بہترین یونیورسٹیوں کے پروفیسروں پر مشتمل آن لائن کورسز کیلئے مشہور امریکہ میں قائم Coursera نامی پلیٹ فارم کے درمیان معاھدہ طے ھوا جس کے تحت عبدالولی خان یونیورسٹی کے اساتذہ اور طلبہ اور طالبات Coursera کے آن لائن کورسز سے گھر بیٹھے چھ مہینے کیلئے مفت استفادہ کر سکیں گے.

چونکہ کرونا وائرس کی وجہ سے یونیورسٹی بند ھے، اس لئے یونیورسٹی کی قیادت نے بروقت فیصلہ کرتے ھوئے Coursera سے رابطہ کرکے اپنی فیکلٹی اور طلبہ اور طالبات کیلئے 4000 سے ذائد کورسز sponsor کئے.

معاھدہ کے تحت عبدالولی خان یونیورسٹی کے اساتذہ اور طلبہ اور طالبات 31 جولائی 2020 تک کورسز میں داخلہ لے سکیں گے اور ستمبر 2020 تک کورسز جاری رکھ سکیں گے.

اس سہولت سےدونوں undergraduate اور graduate سطح کے طلبہ اور طالبات فائدہ اٹھا سکیں گے.

ان 4000 کورسز میں فزکس، میتھس، سٹیسیکس، کمپیوٹر سائنس، باٹنی، زووالوجی، بائیو ٹیکنولوجی، مائکروبیالوجی، انوائرمنٹل سائنس، فارمیسی، بزنس ایڈمنسٹریشن، اکنامکس، اگریکلچر، پولیٹیکل سائنس، لاء، سوشیالوجی, وئٹرنری، فزیکل ہیلتھ اور باقی بہت سارے کورسز شامل ھیں.

کورسز کے اختتام پرCoursera کی طرف سے ان طلبہ اور طالبات کو سرٹیفیکیٹس جاری ھوں گے جو اپنے متعلقہ کورسز میں کامیاب ھو.
