From forest trails to field notes, our BSc-ES & BPH students spent 3 unforgettable days at the Phansad Wildlife Sanctuary exploring the incredible biodiversity that thrives within its ecosystems
Organised in collaboration with HK's Learning Point & Services , the excursion gave students a hands-on glimpse into what it truly means to be environmentalists in the field.
To celebrate the experience, we created the *Phansad Student Trainer Deck* — inspired by classic Pokémon-style trainer cards, featuring some of the flora and fauna captured by our students and faculty, each paired with fun little descriptions highlighting the unique biodiversity of Phansad.
A special thank you to Mr Hemant Karkhanis and Ms. Shambavi from for guiding us through the trails, conducting exciting learning sessions, and making this experience so memorable. We’d also like to thank the local self-help groups for their warm hospitality, comfortable accommodation, and the delicious, healthy meals that kept us going throughout the trip 💚
