False Context
When legitimate content is accompanied by fake contextual data. We've seen a lot of old local government news pop up on social media from time to time.
Satire/Parody
There is no desire to injure, but there is an intention to deceive. The use of humor to critique a subject is known as satire.
Manipulation Content
When authentic sources are imitated. This deceit frequently targets your favorite legitimate local news outlets in the Philippines.
Misleading Content
Misleading use of information to frame an issue or individual.
Fabricated Content
Because of their biases, some internet users are naïve enough to believe false content. Because their perspective of truth is muddled, this type of internet user will believe everything they see, no matter how ridiculous it is. If the news supports their biases, they'll buy it and even assist spread it, even if it's completely false.
False Connection
When the material isn't supported by the headlines, images, or captions. Many people make snap decisions based on the headline alone, without reading the entire article.
