The course will commence on 1 August 2026.

Selected participants will be notified via phone or email within three working days of the application deadline. The notification will include details of the required documents and items to be brought. Selection will be made on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to fulfilment of the eligibility criteria specified above.

A monthly stipend of Nu. 3,500 will be provided throughout the duration of the course.

Bhutan Education and Skills Training - BEST
RENEW

Humber Polytechnic’s David Neumann, Professor of Media, Creative Arts, and Design, travelled to Bhutan as part of the Bhutan Education and Skills Training (BEST) Project to deliver a 10-day workshop on emerging technologies for teaching and learning for technical and vocational education and training (TVET) institutions in Bhutan.

Bhutanese TVET educators explored emerging technologies, creative teaching approaches, and future-ready vocational learning in practical, meaningful, and human-centred ways. Grounded in collaboration, reflection, creativity, community-centered learning, learner well-being, and thoughtful and responsible innovation, the workshop focused on the following:

💡AI for teaching and learning
💡Immersive and spatial technologies
💡Experiential and project-based learning
💡Curriculum innovation
💡Interdisciplinary collaboration
💡Practical implementation and strategies through hands-on activities, reflection, experimentation, and peer learning
