Summer Bliss 🌱.

On July 14, 2007, Andrew McDonough, the original B+ Hero and The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation namesake, died in his sister’s arms after his brave 167 day battle against leukemia. Today, ten years later, Andrew’s positivity continue to inspire families, organizations, individuals across the country, and us - NYDM at NYU.

New York Dance Marathon is more than a 12-hour event. It is a community united by Andrew's mission to always "Be Positive." It is a support system for children and their families in their fight against childhood cancer. NYDM is just one part of Andrew's Legacy, and all that we do is For The Kids.

As the 5th annual NYDM approaches this November, we wanted to take a moment to share with you all that Andrew and his cause means to us. There are many reasons why we dance. But ultimately, we dance so that we can "Live Like Andrew."

The event will take place at Amsterdam Billiards, right around the corner from Founders Hall and right up the block from Webster Hall. Come meet us at Washington Square Park @ 6:45 so we can all head over together or meet us at Amsterdam anytime after 7! Hope to see you there.
